Robe is a small predominantly fishing and farming town with many other small business activities. It is a clean town with several restaurants and two excellent hotels. It affords single/couple and families a wide range of activities. It is a 'must stay' place with plenty of accommodation options.

I feel that the shops in Robe are over priced.
I feel that the shops in Robe are over priced. The Olive Restaurant we went to was so disappointing as we had been there a couple of years before and had a good meal, but not this time. Once you have been to Robe that's it, I don't think it draws you back.

Our favourite cafe for lunch and coffee was The Union Cafe.
Our favourite cafe for lunch and coffee was The Union Cafe. When we visited a few years back, we enjoyed our visits there as well so revisited the cafe and enjoyed the food and friendly service. We also dined and wined at the Caledonian Hotel for dinner for two nights which was very enjoyable and value for money. Each night we visited, we were warmly greeted and service was exceptional. We also had fish and chips which we bought from the fish and chip store on the main road. It was also worth the visit and value for money. The Information Centre was of great value too as we were given a warm and friendly welcome. The Foodland Supermarket was exceptional too, warm friendly staff and fantastic service. We enjoyed Robe as we did a few years ago and there isn't anything we would avoid on the next visit except for the weather. Most of the time it was cold and windy with a few showers. We were lucky to experience a couple of sunny days.

Robe has that real village feel about it.
Robe has that real village feel about it. Great for all water activities, especially fishing. Our main reason to stay in Robe was to play golf. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side so we only played one round (12 holes). That aside, the course and staff at the Golf Club were great and we will definitely be coming back.
Plenty of wonderful eateries (we had a delightful meal at Sails) to choose from.
Robe has a very interesting history which is worth a look.
Great location overlooking Robe Marina. Lovely being able to watch the fishing boats coming and going. Quiet and peaceful location.
The apartment provided everything required for a stay - cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils, a full kitchen, dining suite and lounge suite. Included were books and games for relaxing. Walking distance to shops, hotels and cafes.
Great stay and would recommend a stay.
The location of each cabin set amongst bush land make each cabin feel very remote and private. Beautiful location. Even for campers and caravans it seems a little more of a bush camp than a caravan park. We did visit in Winter so naturally it would be quiet. You will struggle to find anywhere quiet in Robe during summer, unless you camp in the sand dunes.
Beautifully maintained gardens anda cosy house that was well appointed with a wonderful host. The location is perfect, the house gorgeous and the surrounding city of Robe all close at hand. The supplied provisions were handy, but could have been more comprehensive fo the price.
i loved the location -quiet- and the sweet lawn out back with little patios for each room. And a pretty view of the lake (not from the room, but hey! it was so nice). When we come back through Robe, I'd really like to support these owners. Good people.
Love Robe and our stay at the Caledonian Inn. Love the old ship doors into your room, which is beautifully decorated. The shared shower facilities are clean with plenty of room to get changed. Great shower, which is a priority for my stays.
Room was spacious with nice amenities for a short stay. It was a great base spot to relax and explore around Robe and its beaches. The wifi worked well, beds were comfy and aircon was a godsend during our summer visit.
The house was amazing, one of the best we have seen yet in Robe after 5 stays. Paula is also very sweet and provided all the information needed in a timely manner. We will definitely be back again!
Room was very spacious and very clean. Bathroom was very clean as well. Very comfortable room to stay in. Great communication from the Robe Marina team regarding our stay. I recommend staying here.
The location was world class - beautiful views, very close to main street and all facilities, cabins were very good and clean, and plenty of helpful staff who were visible at most times to assist.
Loved the inclusion of breakfast and the homely feel to the cottage. Loved that the cottage is situated within walking distance to dining and shopping in Robe.
Would highly recommend to friends
