Port Elliot is a lovely coastal village with Horseshoe Bay being central to it. There are small cafes and 2 Pubs which are very good. I am perhaps biased as I have been coming here for close on 60 years.

Port Elliot is a beautiful spot. We were right by the beach. Enjoyed walks along the beach and up along the cliffs. It's a short drive to Victor Harbour, Middleton and Goolwa. Perfect spot to stay.

Port Elliot is a lovely little seaside town.

Port Elliot is a lovely little seaside town. The tourist railway is a must. Horseshoe Bay is a safe beach perfect for families. Port Elliot has lots of places to eat. Victor harbour is close by and Kangaroo Island ferry is only an hour’s drive. Adelaide is about eighty kilometres from Port Elliot so easy drive for a day in the city.

Shopping was very convenient with lots of box stores and smaller shops to choose from . There are many small and cosy eateries as well as more formal choices . A GPS will get you everywhere with ease one remembers until one remembers their easy to remember street names .There are lots of bakeries with their usual good choices and adjoining seating for coffies and cakes to be enjoyed with good company !

Pt Elliot a lovely town with good facilities and nice eateries. The beaches are clean and great for early morning walks and watching surfers (perhaps tides too strong for young children). Good walking/bike trails for the energetic. Good place to stay with Goolwa on one side and Victor Harbor on the other. Great wineries in easy reach.

Easy to find The Strand just off the main road by famous Port Elliot Bakery, don't mind the queue as the food is delicious. Stroll up the Strand to find shops, eateries and the Port Elliot Hotel. Great coastal walk to Horseshoe Bay with spectacular views along the coast to Victor Harbour.

The location was excellent: near to the beach, the market and cafes, hotels, restaurants and shops. The house was extremely well equipped with lots of crockery, glassware, cutlery, utensils; in short everything necessary in a kitchen. There is a good-sized refrigerator and complete laundry facilities. The bedrooms are spacious, the bathrooms are sparkling clean and one has a lovely deep bath. Big kitchen, dining, family area and a good-sized back garden. Gorgeous Christmas decorations!

We had a lovely stay at Port Elliott. The room was very private and had a lovely outlook. The property was just out of town but close enough to everything we needed and very quiet. The owners went out of their way to make us feel very much at home. The bed was very comfortable. Little added touches like the bottle of wine provided and goodies for breakfast were a wonderful surprise.
