It had been 12 years since I had been in Ulverstone, I noticed a big difference newer buildings, the new bridge, The Hive which every visiter should visit. Leven Antiques-I always visit that shop, and buy something. In fact the Antique Fair was on and a bought a beautiful Vintage Ring.
I travelled alone and had a room which contained a single bed and a queen size bed therefore my room was quite large, great!
I had a fabulous lunch at Westin on Windows, just out of Ulverstone. A Thai Restaurant was good.

Ulverstone is scenic and restful, with some good cafes and eateries. It is a typical Tasmanian coastal town with an interesting history and some exciting new features, such as a local vineyard and wharf precinct.

Ulverstone is easy to get around make sure you include Ulverstone in your Tassie stay.
Man, this property was one of our favorites during our Tassie holiday. Got our room upgraded on check-in. Room/bathroom was spotless, bath amenities were wonderful, Lots of street parking available. Bed was really comfortable. Walking distance to lots of cafes and bars (and the grocery store) Staff was so friendly and helpful with questions we had. If we ever find ourselves back in the area, we'd make a special effort to return and stay longer at this property. Fantastic experience.
Absolutely everything. Close to facilities of the CBD. A short walk to the beach and parks. Clean and affordable. Family friendly. The swimming pool is great and a real social hive of activity. Cleaners, reception staff and maintenance crew were all lovely, friendly and very welcoming.
Our family will definitely be back and will be staying at least a week. We had a blast and could have just stayed at the hotel.
Breakfast was basic but adequate.
We only saw the manager who seemed to be across all days and hours and multi tasking. She's always polite and helpful and very fast to respond whenever we needed help. Amazing customer service.
Rooms are clean and well maintained for the most part.
We have 4 children and the family room is perfect for all of us. We all slept well.
Amazing view & location close to town Center. It had all all the amenities that an air bnb and a hotel has. Full kitchen set up with coffee machine, milk, butter, jams. For cooking S&P oil, sauces, foils. Washer & dryer with detergents. Bathroom toiletries were also provided. Each bedroom with TV. The property own was very friendly & helpful and quick to reply messages
Excellent location and beautiful home and yard with everything we needed. Bonus points for being dog freindly. The house is close to Penguin, Ulverstone and the delights of the North West Coast. Terrific veiw looking out to sea and Goat Island. Great communication from the owner. We had a lovely stay at this house with our dogs.
We loved stayed at Goat Island Bungalow. The self-contained cottage was 5 star in comfort and luxury. Being able to sit out the back and watch the ocean was so very relaxing. All kitchenware was provided and it was easy to access local shops for groceries. Thank you to our host for this amazing stay.
Doug and Christine were terrific hosts! They are super friendly, kind and offer a fantastic experience as they share all their knowledge of Tasmania. It is a perfect stop if you are travelling around the area and would like to know the amazing little secrets, such as how to get to see penguins!
This property is a true hidden gem! Overlooking a river, the area is quiet and peaceful and wildlife abundant. The studio has the most comfortable bed and softest pillows and it’s beautifully decorated. A short drive to the centre of Ulverstone and to the beautiful seaside town Penguin.
their hospitality was fantastic, their extra touches made it very special the room and especially the breakfast was wonderful, they were very accommodating truly great hosts, would highly recommend their B& B and them as hosts excellent stay
The apartment is fully wheelchair accessible with a great bathroom. My son had no problems getting around the apartment in his electric wheelchair. The deck on the waterfront is fantastic and would be great for a bbq in the warmer months.
This home is beautiful and in a perfect position to walk to the town of Ulverstone or the beach or the lovely parks there
Also a good place to explore the area of penguin burnie and even Stanley
No breakfast was available due to renovations. That was no problem as Ulverstone has many cafes. The unit was great, comfortable beds, lovely linen and towels.
Out of the three hotels I’ve stayed in in TAS for a similar price, this room was the best one.
Appreciated having the little gym to do some exercise too.
